The NAPLUS project aimed at the creation of infrastructure in language technology for the processing of Arabic. The tools developed are for the processing of Arabic in terms of morphology, syntax and semantics. The long term aim of this project was to integrate these tools in machine translation systems such as translation memories, text retrieval information etc. The role of ILSP / R.C.
