The main objective of MUSE was the development of a robust system for content processing, analysis annotation, storage, indexing and retrieval of audiovisual documents related to business news. The target users of such multimedia content management system are journalists, broadcasters, producers, i.e. news professionals. Personalisation of audiovisual content and of related metadata accessed through different devices has also been explored. The MUSE multimedia content management system allows both web-access and mobile phone-access to its services.
