Anna Vacalopoulou works as a linguist-researcher at the Department of Electronic Lexicography in the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP / R.C. "Athena"). She holds a Master's Degree in Lexicography (1997). Her interests include mainly the areas of electronic and computational lexicography, dictionaries for children, as well as the development and management of electronic text corpora. As an ILSP / R.C. "Athena" researcher, she has been involved in the following projects: HNC, LEXIS, SAPPHO, NOEMA, A knight in the castle of words, Lexipedia. She has also worked in the publication of an electronic thematic dictionary of the Greek language (Computer Logic) as well as in the "Bank of English" electronic corpus (Collins - University of Birmingham).
