Maria Koutsombogera has been collaborating with ILSP / R.C. "Athena" since 2002. She holds a PhD in Linguistics (University of Athens, 2012, thesis title:  Multimodality in TV interviews), a MSc in Language Technology (National Technical University of Athens - School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and University of Athens - Department of Linguistics, 2004) and a bachelor’s degree in Greek Philology (University of Athens, Department of Linguistics, 2000). She has presented her work in various Greek and international conferences. Her research interests concern the development and processing of textual and multimedia corpora, multimodal conversation analysis, and computational morphology, syntax and semantics. She has participated in various European and national R&D projects (META-NET, POETICON,COST Action 2102,BulTM,REVEAL-THIS,TV++,Education for the Muslim Minority Children,HNC).
