Nadia Economou has been working with ILSP since 1994. In 1989 she graduated from the Linguistics Department of the University of Athens. In September 1990 she received an M.A. in Language Studies from the University of Lancaster, U.K. and in 1993 she received her Ph.D. from the same University with specialisation in Educational Linguistics. In the academic years 1994-2000 she taught English and linguistics in several private institutions in Athens. In the Departemnt of Educational Technology in ILSP / R.C. "Athena" she has been working in the developemnt of educational software like, e.g. LOGOMATHIA, HERODOTUS, ANTHOLOGIO, HOMERIC EPICS, ANCIENT GREEK PROSE, LEXIPLOIGISSI, DICTIONARY OF TECHNICAL TERMONOLOGY, NEA LOGOMATHEIA etc. She has worked at ILSP / R.C. "Athena" on various projects as a researcher and/or coordinator, e.g. DIALOGOS, SEIRINES, PINELOPI, NAFSIKA, ELPINOR, LAERTIS, PRELUDE, PLEIADES / NIRIIDES etc. She has presented the department's software in various conferences and has been involved in teacher training in the use of educational software. She has also been involved in the writing of educational scenaria for the use of various educational software of the Institute.
